Pain to assemble!!! I purchased this arbor and the matching trellis’s. I’m glad that I started with the construction of the trellis because it IS NOT easy. It’s a bit like a puzzle that keeps falling when you try to put on another piece. There’s nothing to hold it together while you’re working on it. The second trellis was easier than the first but this arbor has me totally stumped. The holes and rails are not completely square and won’t come together without a lot of effort. I’m giving up on it for now and…

Held Up to a Microburst Took time to put it together but not difficult. All the pieces were there. My only real complaint are the 4 end caps for the top cross members. They have to be secured with glue. There’s a tube of airplane glue in the box. Airplane glue doesn’t set right away. I used it and had to use painters tape to hold the end caps in place until the glue set. The arbor withstood an 80 mph microburst last week anchored to the stock anchors.Update: Photos added 3 months later

Fantastic arbor! i’m very pleased with this arbor. It has the same design as the Wellington trellis, and I’d already assembled and installed three of those, so I figured the arbor would be easy too, and it was. I assembled this and anchored it in the ground by myself with no particular problem — with a second person it would be a breeze. It looks great and feels very sturdy — I highly recommend it.
