Perfect for doing battle with Arizona Spiky Things I bought these to use for trail clearing in Arizona, where every plant is festooned with spikes and ready to shred lesser gloves. When doing battle with fearsome brush, especially Cat Claw, these gloves did the job. The glove part over the hands did a good job of protecting my hands when picking up cuttings and grabbing stalks to move for access to a cut point. Love these sturdy gloves!!! I love these. They are great to keep from being stuck by thorns and also for working with all my gardening. They were easy to rinse off. The soil does not soak into them. They will be great for avoiding poison oak, summac, poison ivy and such.

Disappointed With Variable Quality The quality of these gloves varies. I got a small, which turned out to be too small so I exchanged for a medium, which fit great. The smalls were crafted nicely but the mediums were kind of funky. The leather on the arm was so stiff on one panel that I’m worried it will end up ripping apart from the glove portion. I have serious doubts about the longevity of these gloves which, for the price, will be a huge bummer.That being said, the hand portion of the gloves feels like butter…
