Amazon Customer says:

prunes roots but 3 handed transplant Does its job prunes the roots, very hard to over water, but no noticeable difference in growth rate over plastic pots, and is next to impossible to transplant by yourself the root ball just doesn’t want to let go.. I need help from another person to pull the pot off of the rootball as I held the plant upside down really have to squeeze and pry on the pot to let the rootball go… to rough and scary for me but the never root bound factor is awesome so im gonna use plastic pots to raise my plants…

Amazon Customer says:

Good for a nice solution. Description of the product says it all. Nice, a bit over priced, but great for what I want. Will be buying the ones with slits next time, though. Easier for transplanting. I began bottom feeding my plan and roots started growing out the bottom. Which confirms that they can be transplanted within the smart pot just fine.

Rob says:

these work great, way better growth than standard plastic containers these work great, way better growth than standard plastic containers, might have to water a bit more often with these but that’s fine by me
