watch the threads These are great. One caveat, though. Use “no bind” or ” anti seize” lubricant from the auto parts stores on the threads. These fittings are aluminum, and if one connects them to brass, the galvanic action will weld the pieces together….permanently.

NOT DURABLE! Leaks sprung out in half of the hoses I bought. So far (about 1 month of use) I’m liking these very much. I have to carry 3 or 4 of them joined together to get to the far reaches of the newly planted trees, so weight was a big issue with traditional type hoses. I also can compare them to the green as-seen-on-TV inflatable fabric hose — the one with the orange plastic fittings. This Teknor brand is far superior. The hose doesn’t go flying like a sputtering snake when you open the water spigot. The cheaper brand really needs a yard…

Great lightweight and durable hose My wife is very hard on our hoses when she waters all her flowers on our acre so, having a hose that is durable and strong but still lightweight to pull around was a must. This is that hose and she loves watering her flowers and not having to worry about pulling heavy hoses all around the yard.
