White froth on a hot day from water sitting in the hose This is a tough hose and good quality in that regard. But I thought it was supposed to be appropriate quality for drinking water. It definitely puts some sort of chemical into the water, at least if there’s water that sits in it. I use it for livestock with and automatic watered. The water that first comes out of the hose, that has been sitting in the hose for a while, has white froth on hot day. 8.3.15. I took the hose to the dump yesterday. On the 93° day the hose burst. I had been using it…

Awful – Kinks, splits, and fittings become stuck Maybe the worst hose I’ve ever owned. Both fittings became stuck (dissimilar metals?) over a very short time period (6-8 weeks?). I had to use two large tongue and groove pliers to get the two hoses apart … and just about destroyed the fittings. I had to use a pipe wrench to loosen the fitting from the faucet. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. Now, about that whole kink-free thing … it stays kink-free as long as you don’t take it out of the package. Maybe they meant freely…

… our hook up and we were having problems with terrible chemical smells of other hoses We live in an RV and needed to run a long hose to our hook up and we were having problems with terrible chemical smells of other hoses, this one is great. It puts air in the hose so if you turn it on for the first time in a little bit you have to let all the bubbly water run out before the water is normal, but I think that is good because it’s for microbial growth inhibiting. I am impressed with the hose overall.
