The Char-Broil American gourmet deluxe offset smoker represents a great option for the smoker enthusiast with the space to cook for large groups. With a total cooking area of 1,280 square inch, there’s plenty of room to cook your whole meal. The offset fire box allows for classic indirect cooking through the transmission of smoke, flavor, and low heat, through the cooking chamber. The main cooking chamber has a 670 square inch porcelain wire cooking grate and a 355 square inch chrome wire swing-away rack. The third cooking surface, in the firebox, is 255 square inch. There is a side door in the offset smoker box for easy ash removal. The grill features a temperature gauge, 2 wheels for easy mobility, a convenient front shelf and wire bottom shelf. As with all grills, we recommend keeping the firebox clean to help avoid flare ups as well as using a grill cover to protect your investment.

BEST ENTRY LEVEL SMOKER ON AMAZON!!! So I wasn’t so sure how his was going to work out after reading all of the reviews. However, I’ve decided that anyone writing a negative review really didn’t know what they were doing and didn’t properly care for the smoker as was instructed on the first page of the manual. I simply couldn’t wait to get the smoker cooking, so when the…

All things considered this is a good purchase. My wife bought me the standard version of this smoker last year for fathers day and it was mediocre, the cooking space is small and you’ll have a tough time smoking 2 good racks of ribs on it, but it got the job done. I just bought Deluxe version for a Memorial Day BBQ and it is far superior to the standard. If you are thinking about purchasing this you owe it to yourself to spend the little bit extra and get the deluxe. The firebox on my standard version has gotten rusty but hasn’t rusted…

Small and compact while completely usable. I love this little itty bitty baby bar-b-que with smoking box! Do not be mistaken, it is small. What do you expect for $60 some odd dollars? It went together much easier than one I paid a lot more for a few years ago. I will probably be able to smoke a whole brisket, a few racks of ribs or a couple of chickens. Controlling the temperature will be a bit tricky with its size. We have used it twice in so many days and are very happy!
