Good for small apartment balconys/patios Many apartments like mine require that you keep things off the balcony/patio, so I haven’t been able to plant anything that will be on the “floor,” lest I get cited by management for being messy. I have a couple of window boxes attached to the metal railing & hanging flower baskets, but I wanted to plant some herbs/peppers/wheat grass for the cat in smaller pots that wouldn’t really go in neither baskets nor boxes. These flower pot rings are perfect for that. The 4-in is a good size…

If you cut out an over-sized circle of fabric and sew a hemmed edge around it (leaving enough space to fit over the bracket) it I actually used this to make a kitten hammock. If you cut out an over-sized circle of fabric and sew a hemmed edge around it (leaving enough space to fit over the bracket) it worked fantastic. I made several. Some I used a drawstring that pulled the fabric together under it and some I fed though a narrow opening. It didn’t matter to the kittens… they were very happy to be off the ground and snuggled up in their own area.
