The HOTFROG Dual Body Tumbling Composter is a hybrid of our two most popular tumbling composter models.
Avoid digging and mixing your compost pile by hand. The tumbling design makes mixing easy and efficient. Just close the door and turn it 5-6 times every 2-3 days. In hot sunny conditions and with a proper balance of ingredients the compost can finish in as little as 2 weeks.
Two separate sides allow the first side to finish while leaving the second side available to add fresh scraps/clippings. Continuously swapping sides after finishing will create an uninterrupted flow of rich, healthy compost. Both composter bodies spin independently from each other making tumbling this composter twice as easy as composters of similar size.
Constructed from BPA free, UV inhibited, recycled polyethylene the plastic is contact safe and will not degrade under direct sunlight. The painted galvanized steel frame is corrosion resistant and will look great for years.
The total volume of both chambers is approximately 37 gallons (5 cu ft).

Easy to assemble, small enough for the back porch, big enough for good results So far, so good. I’ll update if something changes. This is not a huge composter, but it’s very easy to assemble and small enough to fit on a back porch. It is very convenient for taking kitchen scraps out back and close to the house. The frame it comes with is lightweight but seems sturdy enough to support the weight of both containers full of compost. The lids fit on very easily and I like that you don’t have to completely remove the lid to add material. I also like…

Sturdy, well-made, and easy to assemble. So far we have only had it a little over a week. It was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. The plastic is thick and feels heavy-duty. There are perforations on the side to allow for breathing but it is otherwise sealed well. The sliding doors are stiff, so it take a little effort to slide them open but that is fine with me. I like that they won’t slip open when inverted, but will come off completely to make it easier to empty.

Pretty Awesome, mine had small flaw First of all, I love this thing. It’s the perfect size. The directions to put it together were easy. I love that the doors are separate (most dual tumble composters have one door that slides across). I love the size of them. I love that you can just spin one at a time, my 2 year old son love spinning this thing.Ok so I really wanted to give it five stars, but while putting it together (using a screwdriver and a wrench) one of the screws broke in half, not at the head, actually at the…
